Does your dog lick things obsessively? A dog licking various objects is considered pretty much normal among pet owners and experts. But when a dog obsessively and abnormally licks the floor, or brick walls, or other objects…that is another story.
S ome dogs may have rather quirky dining preferences, but a major difference exists between merely offbeat and compulsive. If your precious pooch regularly puts his mouth on and swallows concrete, you may be dealing with a classic case of "pica," a compulsive disorder that involves eating inedible objects. Concrete is certainly in this category.

Hey there forum, My puppy, Dodger has a strange habit of chewing on bricks and the occasional crack in the cement. We have bricks in our house around our wood stove. Obviously we stop him when he does it, and always supervise him around places that have theses things.
