The licence holder of Margate's Sundowners wine bar should be changed following huge a rise in crime under his leadership, Thanet's District Commander has said. Chief Insp Sharon Adley is urging Thanet council to stop Duncan Bayles being allowed to continue in his role as one of a number of measures to curb violent offences. The review of the Albert Terrace bar's licence follows a violent incident on August 6 during which a number of people were injured.
